Ernest H. McCoy will respond to email queries concerning his backlog and the availability for accepting new clients. Ernest H. McCoy is willing to participate in an initial telephone conference to discuss any subject or questions related to an applicant's idea or about the employment of the firm of Bruce & McCoy as patent lawyers. The conferences are limited to a one-half (1/2) hour conversation at a time convenient to both of the parties. The cost is at a reduced rate flat fee of ninety-five dollars ($95) payable in advance by money order or personal check (a certified check will also expedite the procedure the same as a money order).

Please write to Mr. McCoy at his office address with the retainer and your telephone number. Please suggest the alternative times you would like him to call taking into consideration the time differences between the West Coast and applicant's location, the transmission time for the communication of the request to reach Bruce & McCoy, the upcoming holidays and weekends, and the method of payment of the retainer. If it is by personal check, give the bank time to honor the check.

Mr. McCoy still must travel extensively, but setting up a mutually agreeable conference time has never been a problem for past applicants. If Mr. McCoy is unable to contact the applicant at the times suggested, as a result of four attempts by telephone on at least two different days, $50 of the retainer will be immediately returned to the applicant.
